ABOUT THE CAMPSITE

Welcome to Braunton Sands Campsite - our family-run spot just five minutes from the golden sands of Saunton Beach. Perfectly placed for exploring North Devon’s surf scene, coastal paths, and laid-back villages, it’s a peaceful base where you can truly unwind.

Our pop up, summer campsite offers spacious grass pitches, some with 16 amp electric hook-ups, surrounded by beautiful countryside. We’re family and dog friendly, with a dedicated dog-walking area to keep tails wagging. You’ll also find all the essentials just a short five minute stroll away in Braunton village, from cosy pubs and surf shops to local cafés.

ABOUT THE SITE

Our spacious 10m x 10m grass pitches offer plenty of room to relax. Choose from non electric pitches for a simple stay, or grass pitches with 16 amp electric hook ups, ideal for tents, campervans and motorhomes.

The village of Braunton is a five minute walk away and has everything you could need, from pubs and takeaways to surf shops and supermarkets. Next door, the local cricket club offers guests the chance to join in on the local social scene for a small annual fee, with a bar serving cold pints and freshly made pizzas while you watch a match on sunny afternoons.

For days by the sea, we are a five minute drive from Saunton Sands Beach, while the world-famous surf at Woolacombe and the scenic shoreline of Croyde Bay are both within 20 minutes.

We welcome well-behaved dogs, too, with a dedicated walking area for them to enjoy. In the evenings, gather for a BBQ or cosy up by a fire pit (eco logs only, but these are available to purchase onsite).

FACILITIES

You’ll find a facilities block with three toilets, three hot showers, and hand basins with soap provided. There’s also a washing up area with a kettle and a tabletop freezer for guests to use. If you’re heading to the beach, we’ve got a handy wetsuit wash area, and for your four-legged friends, there’s a dedicated dog walking area too.

Right next door, the local cricket club welcomes our guests. For a small yearly fee, you can enjoy their facilities, including Sky TV, a pool table, and a friendly bar serving drinks and tasty pizzas. We’re also just a five minute walk from the centre of Braunton, where you’ll find a great choice of restaurants, cafés, and bars. There’s a Tesco superstore about a 15 minute walk away for any essentials, and if you fancy a pint, The White Lion pub is just a five minute stroll down the road.
